The reason for the completion of this study is due to the importance of the animated television program "The Simpsons" within the global communities that span the world, being one of the most successful and long-term programs within the small screen, becoming a reference of pop culture and society, becoming popular even in countries like Iran and Israel, belonging to a more conservative culture than the American. This unbridled boom within the people was so disturbing that it made us ask the question, that, if The Simpsons and their populism manage to influence human behavior, imposing their American culture, reaching the point of being considered "Cultural Imperialism", or if it is a series that adapts to the constant social changes, being a reflex and a constructive criticism to society.

For this research we chose two types of methodologies: the qualitative and the analytical; studying the structure of the program, breaking it down to analyze the inside of it, examining the content and semiotics within the literal and subliminal messages, determining the intentionality of the issuer (the program) and the main objective that it has within the collectives.

The results of the study and the analysis of the content of the program, showed that the series is susceptible to multiple changes and adaptations in order to be broadcast to regions with more traditional culture, modifying its content to be adjusted to all types of culture and societies. The results also indicated that the program is based on tendentious issues with great apogee to elaborate its weekly episodes.

As a conclusion it was specified and specified that within the "The Simpsons" program there is no "Cultural Imperialism" as it had been understood years ago, what exists is a significant significance of universal, integral and generic social issues.
